END OF BLOG (Not actually that significant).
This will be the last blog entry at Aekaproject.com, my blog can now be found at http://www.KarenGellender.com. I don't know exactly when it's going down, but eventually the Aekaproject URL will take you to the new Sterling site, which is at http://www.sterlingthegraphicnovel.com. I haven't really felt comfortable with the Aekaproject url for years (how long has it been since Aeka was REALLY the main character?), but after so many years I can't get rid of it. I think Google and all other search engines the world over would cry at the loss of such an old, dear friend, and we can't have that.
Please update all bookmarks, or do whatever it is you do to keep track of stuff online. I make up complicated mnemonic devices, but I don't recommend it.
New site, Yeehaw!
Well, it's not 100% done, but the content is all there: all future updates to the comic will be to the new site at http://www.ezlbeth.com. Eventually aekaproject.com will direct you there as well, although aekaproject is staying as-is for at least a little while longer.
Once again, there is a Sterling forum-- not the first, but hopefully the last, if you get my drift.
Inner Simmering
Ch2Page76 is up, however there is no new scene marker to mark the new scene, "Inner Simmering"-- editing the Chapter Two main page is hard with my limited skills. I think I finally know why Pagebuilder is no longer working, but it should be a non-issue soon enough anyway.
"Girls" concludes, software is a pain
Pagebuilder was so resistant to cooperating, I gave up and updated Ch.2 Page 75 by actually editing the HTML files, and that just does not happen-- my view of HTML is similar to the way rich trophy wives view plumbing; you vaguely know it exists and are okay with the basic concept, but the idea of having to touch it is downright vile. I think I need a shower.
Thank goodness (and Wilson) that the new website is almost done. In truth I can think of about a billion things I could still do with it, but this experience has taught me that I am bad at website making and at least somewhat, comparitively speaking, good at comic making, so I'm going to go back to my strengths. I'm really excited to get to a lot of stuff in the tail end of this Chapter, so I have to get back to work or start biting my fingernails impatiently...and I like my fingernails.
Next time, something completely different...or just different in a homey, Chapter-One sort of way.
Yahoo, somewhat cooperative
I posted Ch2 Page 74, and Yahoo! even let me update the main page! It crashed soon after that, but you know, one must not be greedy.
I wish I had something terribly witty to impart, but meh, just not feeling the wit right now.
